Ideas, Tools, and a Roll of Paper

With a solo show always in the back of my mind, I am constantly trying to gather a strong series of ink illustrations. Every time I come upon other artist's work it makes me want to work even harder.
So in saying that I am currently trying new tools to illustrate with, going back to my earlier years, and ridding myself of what it means to "mess up". I am always reminding myself that mistakes are what you make them. If a certain movement, or line is not what you want it to be then maybe it's you who needs to bend a little.
The first image is the start of an ink illustration on a roll of paper, 10 yards long that I plan to illustrate from right to left . No planning, no sketch, no brushes. We'll see how it turns out.
